Chief Complaint:  Menstrual Cramping

I have had difficulty with my menstrual cramps for several years now.  I would always have extreme pain in my pelvic area combined with nausea.  After seeking out many different and unsuccessful treatments, Dr. Chris not only managed to successfully eliminate my cramping pains, but the nausea is also gone.  He evaluated all of my symptoms, medical history, sleep and diet.  I was also pleased that Dr. Chris took the time to explain what changes I could make to my daily routine to improve my overall health.

I have suffered with Osteoarthritis for over 7 years.  After having little to no success with conventional treatments, I became a patient of Dr. De Barros.  After only 1 month, I noticed a drastic difference in my mobility, and a significant decrease in pain.  I was also able to sleep the entire night through, for the first time in years.  His holistic approach to my case is what I believe made the difference.  After 6 months, I no longer had problems walking or being active, and the pain was gone.

Chief Complaint:  Behavioural Issues

A mother brought in her child who was always yelling and cursing at her.  He would become particularly angry and jealous when the mother paid any attention to his younger brother.  When he became upset, he was impossible to console.  The child also refused to eat any nutritious foods, such as fish or vegetables.  After 3 months of treatment, the child had drastically changed in temperament.  He was no longer jealous of his brother, and did not curse or yell at his mother.

Chief Complaint:  Kidney stones

 I had been suffering with the sharp pains of kidney stones for 2 weeks.  I got no relief from the pain-killers I had been prescribed.  The pains were on the right side of my mid to lower back.  Nothing brought relief.  I went to see Dr. De Barros, and after 2 treatments, the pain had gone, and the stones finally passed.  I continue seeing Dr. De Barros on a regular basis to further prevent having this health problem again.
